NBA Free Agency began today so a lot has happened. Here’s all of the big signings, trades, and extensions that have happened recently:
Free Agency:
D’Angelo Russel is signing with the Dallas Mavericks.
Brook Lopez is signing with the Los Angeles Clippers
Jordan Clarkson is signing with the New York Knicks
Kevon looney is signing with the New Orleans Pelicans
Clint Capela is signing with the Houston Rockets
Luke Kennard has signed with the Atlanta Hawks
Luke Kornet is signing with the San Antonio Spurs
Mason Plumlee is signing with the Charlotte Hornets
Tyus Jones is signing with the Orlando Magic
Nickeil Alexander-Walker is signing with the Atlanta Hawks
Extensions:
Lebron James is opting into his $52.6M player option to stay with the Lakers for the 2025-26 season. He will be the first player to ever play 23 seasons in the NBA.
Julius Randle is planning to sign a three-year, $100M extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
James Harden intends to sign a new two-year $81.5M contract to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to sign a five-year, $240M with the Memphis Grizzlies
Bobby Portis intends to sign a three-year $44M contract to return to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Jabari Smith jr. intends to sign a five-year $122M extension with the Houston Rockets
Tauren Prince has agreed to a two-year, $7.1M extension with the Milwaukee Bucks
Trades:
The Utah Jazz are trading Collin Sexton and a 2030 second-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Jusuf Nurkic.
The Denver Nuggets are Trading Michael Porter jr. and a 2032 first round pick to the Brooklyn nets for Cam Thomas.
Other:
Also Bojan Bogdanovic has retired
