Damian Lillard Traded to The Milwaukee Bucks

Damian Lillard was just traded to the Milwaukee Bucks! Lillard made it pretty clear that he wanted to be traded to the Miami Heat, so it was pretty surprising when this news came out.

In this trade:

Bucks Receive: Damian Lillard

Trailblazers Receive: Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, a 2029 first-round pick, and a Bucks pick swap.

Suns Receive: Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little, Keon Johnson, Grayson Allen

So far 7x All-Star Damian Lillard has played his whole 11-season career with the Portland Trailblazers. However, after never making the NBA finals with the team, he decided it was finally time to request a trade.

Many players would be criticized if they requested a trade from their team, however, Lillard should not be. Damian Lillard has done everything he possibly could for his team, yet the rest of the team has never been great.

For example, this last season Lillard averaged a very impressive 32.2 Points, 7.3 Assists, and 4.3 Rebounds while making almost 50% of his shots, but he was the only consistently great player so the team didn't even make the playoffs. Even with this, Lillard has been loyal to his team for 11 years, so it seems fair that he finally requested a trade.

With the Bucks already being a great team, it's going to be crazy to see them get Damian Lillard. Lillard and Giannis will make an insane duo!
